Curiosity killed the kid, the kitten.

The curious kid,

The curious kitten,

He was warned.

It was bitten.

From a young age,

Since it was born,

He knew the saying.

It knew the lesson.

But he never learnt,

But it could not be bothered,

He paid no attention.

It lacked the concentration.

So as the kid grew up,

As it got a little older,

The risks got bigger.

It became a little bolder.

Now what was the saying again?

What was the lesson again?

Yes, curiosity killed the cat.

In death it learnt its lesson.

I was bored, and I really wanted to write something about curiosity. And I wanted to inject a little creativity by making a 2-in-1 poem. The link between a kid and a kitten may seem a little tenuous, but I’m sure there’s a link. So there.
